How Fortune Gems Works
The main grid is small and the symbol set is short, which makes the paytable easy to hold in your head after a few rounds. Wins are formed in the ordinary way by matching gems across the grid.
The Multiplier Reel
Sitting beside the grid is a separate reel that lands a multiplier on every spin. If the grid pays, that multiplier is applied to it. This is why two identical looking wins can be worth very different amounts, and it is the one thing to watch while the reels settle.
Session Shape
Because the extra reel can land on a plain value as easily as a high one, the game produces frequent modest wins with occasional sharp ones. Open the demo at lol44 to see how often the reel actually helps.
